Dresses in transition - women's fashion since 1850 (online tour)

POSTPONED to April

The exhibition of the Historisches Museum Frankfurt "Dresses in transition - Women's Fashion since 1850" deals with the changes that clothing, and with it the image of the female body, underwent during a period of historical upheaval.

Using historical garments, paintings and various media, we will experience a 3D tour through the exhibition in an online guided tour (in English) and learn how
women's bodies gain freedom over the course of the history of fashion, art and movement, and what questions arise about today's freedom and limitation of movement through clothing.

As with regular social events, it is necessary to register via the link below. You will receive further information along with the access code to the meeting.

Participation is free. Maximal number of participants is limited to 25 persons.

The new date will be placed here as soon as available!

Open Space: Bauhaus in three lines

February 27, 2021 | online

Dear doctoral students, dear postdocs,

we cordially invite you to our next Open Space.

As in our previous meetings, we would like to exchange ideas in a nice and informal setting. This time we want to take a look on the highly influential Bauhaus school. We will play with words in a creative way and rearrange text modules like the Bauhäusler did in their free Dadaist collages.

The meeting will be held in English. As with normal social events, it is necessary to register via the link below. You will receive further information
along with the access code to the meeting.
