Supervision Agreement
The Supervision Agreement embodies the high standards of academic education at Goethe University.
As a target agreement, it spells out and regulates the specific rights and duties with regard to the cooperation between the doctoral candidates and the team of supervisors, based on the doctoral regulations of the faculties of Goethe University.
The Supervision Agreement defines the candidate's project and its financing, the intervals of supervisory meetings and the project's duration. During the supervisory meetings, the doctoral candidates are expected to present their supervisory team with a progress report, which should comprise recent research findings, the next steps to take and possible complications that could hamper the research process.
PhD students may set-up a supervision agreement with their supervisory team, in cooperation with GRADE.
