With a Focus on Research Training Groups

GRADE offers supervisors from all faculties support in applying for externally funded graduate training programs such as the DFG Research Training Groups. With its long-standing expertise in the field of graduate education, and in collaboration with the administrative department "Research Support" (RS) and the "Equal Opportunities Office", GRADE provides initial advice and basic information, especially with respect to the conceptualization of a qualification program as well as a supervision strategy that reflect the state of the art in the field of doctoral education and that help to improve the chances for successful funding applications.

We encourage supervisors to send us their draft proposals to receive comments and suggestions for revisions and amendments. As all proposals will eventually be submitted to the DFG by Goethe University's Presidential Office, please note the guidelines and the timeline which are summarized in a flyer published by the three previously mentioned service units that are involved in support for grant applications at Goethe University.
