With a Focus on Research Training Groups

GRADE offers supervisors from all faculties support in applying for externally funded graduate training programs such as the DFG Research Training Groups. With its long-standing expertise in the field of graduate education, and in collaboration with the administrative department "Research Support" (RS) and the "Equal Opportunities Office", GRADE provides initial advice and basic information, especially with respect to the conceptualization of a qualification program as well as a supervision strategy that reflect the state of the art in the field of doctoral education and that help to improve the chances for successful funding applications.

Draft proposals must be submitted centrally to the Research Support – National Research Funding team. The text sections relevant to ECR support are forwarded to GRADE, where they are reviewed and, if necessary, suggestions for revisions are provided.
