Online workshop: A little AI never hurts? – How LLMs make programming in R easier for typical questions in educational science (in German language)
This online workshop took place on April 14, 2026, from 9 AM to 5 PM under the guidance of Dr. Julien Patrick Irmer. The workshop provided practical strategies for using Large Language Models (LLMs) in quantitative data analysis with R for common questions in educational science. Participants learned how AI can efficiently support the process from data preparation through modeling to result presentation – always with a “human in the loop.” The focus was on practical prompt engineering, critically evaluating AI-generated suggestions, and integrating AI into existing R workflows. The goal was to enable participants to use AI in a meaningful, safe, and reproducible way for their own research or teaching.
