Membership

We invite all doctoral candidates and postdocs of the Faculty of Philosophy and History to become center members in order to participate in all center activities!

Doctoral and postdoctoral candidates of the  Faculty of Philosophy and History registering with GRADE will automatically be assigned to the GRADE center GPE.

Funding

Prerequisite for funding by the GRADE Center GPE for doctoral candidates is the acceptance for doctoral studies by the doctoral committee of the Department 08 Philosophy and History. For postdocs, an employment at the department and/or membership in a research project at the department is required.

If there is no formal affiliation to the department, but a demonstrable intention to habilitate at the department, the Center Board can decide on the eligibility of the postdoc for funding.
