Membership
PhD candidates who are GRADE members are eligible for membership at the GRADE Center Normative Orders on the condition that they gain admission as doctoral students to the International Graduate Program (IGP) of the Research Centre "Normative Orders".
Successful applicants have to have graduated with excellence in one of the disciplines represented in the research centre; they have to present a PhD project that is convincing and addresses the thematic focus of the research centre, and they have to provide proof of their working knowledge of German and English. For more information about the application requirements and the documents to be submitted, please refer to the » centre homepage.
Currently the Research Centre "Normative Orders" does not announce any further scholarships at the IGP.
However, external doctoral students and postdocs are invited to apply for a research visit. Should they not have enough or any necessary funding for their stay, they can apply for financial support to the research centre. Details on the application procedure can be found here.
Goethe University PhD candidates outside the IGP of the Research Centre "Normative Orders" are welcome to apply for associated membership to the GRADE Center Normative Orders. The admission criteria and the required documents are the same as those required of applicants to the IGP (as listed above).
