Membership

PhD and postdoctoral candidates who are registered with GRADE are eligible for membership at the GRADE Center Language, if their research projects tie in with the thematic focus in the field of linguistics advocated by the Center (Language as Grammar; interest in the typological facts of linguistics; Digital Humanities). Doctoral students have to have been formally admitted as PhD candidates by one of the faculties represented in the Center.

Applicants to the Center are asked to write an informal letter of motivation, limited to one page, explaining their specific interest in becoming a member as well as describing their research project. The applications for membership have to be send to the center coordinator via e-mail: Nuhbalaoglu@em.uni-frankfurt.de
